Description
Cav-Air-Ator® is a full wall drainage and ventilation mat for full brick or stone masonry walls. It prevents mortar from entering the cavity, clinging to wall ties, or blocking weep holes. The innovative design of Cav-Air-Ator allows it to be extremely light and flexible so that it can easily rest on top of the brick ties.
Short Form Spec
Provide 16” or 24” wide by 4’ long strips of 3/8”, ¾”, 1”, or 1-3/4” thick structured strand polymer mesh with fabric facer behind cavity wall veneers. Install the full height of the wall to keep mortar droppings out of the cavity and allow for maximum drainage and ventilation. Install per manufacturer’s instructions.
