Cav-Air-Ator® | Drainage Mat for Brick and Natural Stone Walls

Cav-Air-Ator® is a full wall drainage and ventilation mat for full brick or stone masonry walls. It prevents mortar from entering the cavity, clinging to wall ties, or blocking weep holes. The innovative design of Cav-Air-Ator allows it to be extremely light and flexible so that it can easily rest on top of the brick ties.

Cav-Air-Ator is made up of an extruded polymer matrix of entangled monofilaments. A lightweight breathable filter fabric is heat laminated on one side of the product to prevent mortar from entering the cavity while still allowing for enough finger room to lay the brick. In masonry walls, it leaves 96.5% of the cavity unobstructed and free to breathe. The extremely high airflow and lack of mortar intrusion allows for efficient liquid moisture drainage and uniform airflow in all directions.
