Chairman and Founder – Sourlis led the operations of Mortar Net Solutions™ from its founding until 2011 and today serves as its chairman. Prior to Mortar Net Solutions, Sourlis had founded Sourlis Masonry Restoration and worked for nearly 25 years repairing buildings that, in large part, had been damaged by trapped water in masonry walls. He attended Illinois Institute of Technology for four years as an architecture student.
Sourlis has worked on such notable historic buildings as The Rookery, The John J. Glessner House, Holy Family Church, and the Chicago Water Tower.
On October 21, 2010, Sourlis was honored with the Innovation Fellow Award by the Society of Innovators in Indiana.

President – Gary brings over 30 years of executive leadership experience, mostly related to electronics technology, to Mortar Net Solutions. He joined Mortar Net as a director in 2004 and became president in 2011. Under his guidance the Mortar Net team members have dedicated themselves to the mission of bringing satisfaction and security to designers, specifiers and tradesmen by delivering cost effective, high performance moisture management solutions that contribute to the construction of long lasting, trouble free masonry structures. He has contributed to Mortar Net’s long-established record of innovation by adding four United States patents related to products for managing moisture in masonry structures. Gary is a voting member of ASTM Committee E06 on the Performance of Buildings, an associate member of RCI, an international association of building envelope consultants, and a director of the Building Envelope Moisture Management Institute (BEMMI). Mortar Net is continuing its record of industry support through its sponsorship of the Mason Contractors Association of America and membership in the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA), the Sealant, Waterproofing and Restoration Institute (SWRI), RCI, Inc., as well as multiple local masonry institutes.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) and a master’s degree in Industrial Administration (MSIA), both from Purdue University. As a result of his earlier work in electronics technology, Gary was recognized as a Fellow by the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers. He was inducted into the Northwest Indiana Society of Innovators. He is active in the community as a director of the Crisis Center and the Northwest Indiana Society of Innovators, both in Gary, Indiana.
He and his wife Brenda enjoy outdoor activities, especially hiking and kayaking, and cooking for themselves and friends. Gary is a too infrequent golfer.

Customer Service Manager – Kelly manages our distributor network, customer service, quotations, and incoming purchase order processing. Kelly co-manages the day-to-day operations of our corporate office, maintains product inventory levels, and administers the health insurance plans. Kelly has been with Mortar Net Solutions since April, 1995.

Controller – Bill is responsible for accounting operations, including working capital management, payables, receivables, budgeting, and financial reporting. He coordinates the annual review with Mortar Net Solutions independent auditors. Additionally, he manages the company’s traffic sources, negotiating freight rates and service level to achieve the highest value.
Bill joined Mortar Net Solutions in November of 2004. He has bachelor’s degree in Criminology with a minor in Business from Florida State University. He continued his education at DePaul University in Chicago where he worked on an accounting degree.

Engineering Manager – Steven is responsible for providing engineering support services and product training for the full family of Mortar Net Solutions products. He provides the pre-engineering flashing take offs, flashing system solutions for contractors and distributor training. Steven joined the company in August, 2010.
Prior to joining Mortar Net Solutions Steven worked for the engineering firm Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates performing facade evaluations and repair concept details. He also worked for WASCO, Inc. as a Project Manager, completing jobs in masonry restoration, terra cotta repair, precast erection, granite and marble installations, and site masonry projects.
Steven has a bachelor of science degree in Civil Engineering Technology and two associate degrees in Civil Engineering and Drafting and Design Specializing in Building Construction.

Business Development Associate – Angela supports the marketing of Mortar Net Solutions’ product line by ensuring the timely delivery of samples and product information to the construction community, distributors, and sales team; managing the company’s contact relationship manager database; and assisting with day-to-day sales and customer service tasks.
Angela graduated from Indiana University NW with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She has prior sales and customer service experience in the retail environment. Angela has been with Mortar Net Solutions since March of 2006.

Marketing Communications Manager – Greg assists the company field sales team by managing leads and following active construction projects from the initial specification stage to closing sales, and develops and maintains the company website. Greg has been with Mortar Net Solutions since February of 2011.
Greg graduated from Daytona Beach Community College in 2007. He completed his Associates of Arts degree during his junior and senior year of high school which allowed him to transfer directly to the University of Florida as a junior. Greg spent 3 years in the Warrington College of Business Administration program at the University of Florida where he graduated in April of 2010 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Management.

Accounting Administrator – Nichole handles Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Work Orders and Receipt of Goods. She works with the warehouse to ensure all orders are shipped out in a timely manner. She is the back-up for customer service and works closely with the Controller on Budgeting, Costing and Inventory Management.
After working in the dental field for 10 years, Nichole spent the following 10 years working in accounting in the manufacturing and construction industries. Nichole joined the Mortar Net team in March 2015. She is a graduate of Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.

Marketing Assistant – Michael works with both the Marketing Department and Construction Services. He helps create marketing collateral and advertising pieces, and he helps manage the company’s contact database. He is responsible for sending out product samples to architects, contractors and others, and helps with tradeshow management. He is set to graduate from the AASCB accredited Purdue University Calumet in December, 2015, with a Bachelor of Arts in Business. Michael started with the company in July, 2015.”
